But first, she faces a greater threat that threatens to destroy them all - the Keeper of the Underworld. Darken Rahl's defeat has opened a rift to this land of the dead, and the Keeper is preparing to wage war on the world of the living. And Zedd tells Richard that only the Stone of Tears can prevent the Keeper of the Underworld from waging war on the land of the living. But the Stone has been lost for centuries beyond count.
